Salinization is a global environmental problem. It particularly prevalent in Africa areas with low rainfall trend such as the Senegalese groundnut basin where 20% of land affected. reduces food production by more than 10%. In Senegal, sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) moderately tolerant to drought and salinity increasingly cultivated. an alternative fight poverty rural allows revaluation salty land. The objective this work evaluate at early stage reproduction effect on chlorophyll ion (Na+ Cl−) contents four African varieties sesame. experimental device consists randomized blocks two factors three repetitions. variety factor modalities (AS09, AS14, AS15 AS25). or abiotic stress (NaCl) includes (0 mM, 17 mM 34 mM). parameters evaluated are Na+ Cl− ions chlorophylls (Chl a, Chl b total Chl). results showed that Chl) leaves increased NaCl 44 days after sowing. higher those all treatments. Chlorophyll salinity. Variety produced greatest amounts chlorophyll. Sesame, inclusive-type plant, compartmentalizes leaf level vacuoles. He developed tissue tolerance
